1-These pictures have sort of a stressful mood to them when i look at them i see the girl at the bottom looks stressed and the one at the top looks sad.

2-I think the pictures were painted by oil.

3-Yes it do, as the colors make it contrasty and with darker shadows

4-I think the painter painted it show his skills in painting in this technique of colors with dark shadows to show the contrast
